Intermission

For a little over a year now, my wife and I have been working on a move back to Africa to pursue a venture or two. It’s finally happening.  As a result, it would appear wise to put this blog on hold in the interim. I look forward to resuming normal blog posts once we have completely moved and settled.

I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this forum in any shape or form.  Your time, generosity, and insight have been greatly appreciated.  Let’s continue the exchanges as soon as I am fully based in Africa. In the interim you can follow me on Twitter where I will continue to drop occasional “tweets” before reverting to my typical blogging next year.

Allow me to wish one and all an enjoyable festive season, and an exceptional New Year!  Stay well.

  • Hey africanaspects,
Come on!! As you are travelling and moving to Africa, it makes even more sense to do more blogging as we need to find out more about your African ventures…
And now you are gonna stop!!!
I protest to this and would like to disapprove of your decision…

  • Gagisa lol – trust me you’ll blink and I’ll be back blogging based on the African continent. Thanks for your constant flow of great comments by the way! Let’s catch up soon once normal ‘business’ resumes on this blog :) . Do stay well friend.

  • dont know what to say.. all the best mate.. and take a lot of bottled water..

but keep us posted.. might be joining you sooner than you think.. and remember you’ll always have an office in Malawi.. whatever you do..

  • Archkins – I’ll take you up on that Malawi office offer – you’d better be serious. Thanks for the goodwill message and your outside the box perspectives! Wish you the best yourself. Speak soon.

  • congrats on officially joining the much coveted reaspora camp! i suppose planning & packing don’t quite go hand-in-hand with obsessive blogging, so i’ll let you off the meme that’s currently traversing the afroblogosphere. looking forward to your aspects from Africa. bon voyage.

  • Sci-culturist – Asante sana. I’ve only just caught wind of the meme would you believe. Tells you something about how little I’ve got my finger on the pulse at the mo’. Certainly not the best time for me to cobble together something meaningful but I do think it’s a fantastic concept! Do keep at it. Stay well!

  • Good luck with the move, and let us know how it goes:)
